This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwestern Connecticut,
the southern Berkshires of western Massachusetts, , eastern Catskills, 
and mid Hudson Valley in eastern New York 
DAY ONE...Tonight.
Rain may changeover to snow for elevations above 1500 feet Thursday
morning. A light coating to slushy inch of accumulation may make for
locally slippery conditions.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
Gusty westerly winds are expected Thursday into Friday. Some wind
gusts may exceed 40 mph, resulting in a few downed tree limbs, trees
or power lines. Isolated power outages are possible. A Wind Advisory
may be needed for some locations Thursday into Friday.
 
Tonight: Definite drizzle before midnight, then rain between midnight and 3am, then rain and possibly a thunderstorm after 3am. Low around 39. Breezy, with an east wind 9 to 14 mph increasing to 18 to 23 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 41 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
 
Thursday: Rain likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 10am, then a slight chance of showers between 10am and noon. Mostly cloudy, with a temperature falling to around 32 by 5pm. South wind 13 to 18 mph becoming west in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 33 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
 
Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 22. Breezy, with a west wind 18 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 36 mph.
