The Sharon Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary is again sponsoring a fundraiser for the holiday season. Individuals can make donations in memory or in honor of a loved one by donating $5 per individual to the auxiliary. The donor will have the choice of the ornament to be used: tree, star, present, wreath, regular ornament or the Star of David. It is up to the donors whether they wish to have their name placed on the ornament.
The Memory Tree will be displayed in the Sharon Town Hall lobby until Dec. 31. To obtain a form to complete for the donation, stop at the selectmen’s office at the Town Hall at 63 Main St., or mail a check payable to the Sharon Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, P.O. Box 794, Sharon, CT 06069 with a note stating the name of the individual( s), which ornament is to be used and if the donor’s name should be added. For further information contact Tina Pitcher at 860-364-0486 or Helen Carberry at 860-364-0292 in the evening.
